Niacinamide is the form of niacin that circulates in the bloodstream. Niacinamide is utilized by all body tissues to synthesize nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP) the active forms of niacin.
